Can I book over the phone?

The best way to book a site with us is online. That way you can key in your exact travel dates and the amount of people you’re bringing to give you the most accurate pricing of your booking. It will also give you a chance to view our full terms and conditions.

‘To secure a booking with us, full payment is required at the time of your booking.’

Yes, we welcome group bookings. When booking online, use the notes section to let us know you’re travelling with other parties and we’ll do our best to arrange sites together.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

What are your check in/Check out hours?

Check in is at 2pm and check out is at 10:00AM.

You will receive a pre check-in information text the morning of your arrival, which will give you instructions for a contactless check-in which can be done within and out of office hours.

Generally the answer is no. Sometimes if the park is especially quiet, you could get in touch with the park manager on the day prior to arrival to organise an early check in.

If reception’s closed and you haven’t booked, we can’t accommodate walk-ins. Always book ahead, especially during holidays and weekends.

Subject to availability, extensions may be possible. Check with reception as early as possible if you’d like to stay longer.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES

Are linen and towels provided?

Towels and linen are provided. If you’ve got a favourite pillow or doona, bring it.

You can use the equipment provided, any external cooking equipment that you may bring must be used in the camp kitchen.

We offer various cabin configurations. Check individual cabin descriptions when booking for specific features and capacity.

Hi there, yes you are allowed a campfire. We have some fire pits available for rent (first in best dressed.) Or you’re more than welcome to bring your own.

No, we are a holiday park so we only offer short term stays.

AMENITIES

Do you have a camp kitchen? What equipment does it have?

We do NOT have fridges, toasters, microwave – but we have BBQ’s and a nearby sink.

All of our sites are roughly 6 – 7 meters, despite what’s shown on the map. You will still have the opportunity to fill out what equipment you plan on bringing on our checkout as well.

Amenities blocks are positioned throughout the park. You’ll receive a park map on arrival showing all facilities.

Yes, our amenities blocks have hot water showers.

PARK RULES & POLICIES

Are you pet friendly?

Our park is pet friendly, however our accommodations are not. If camping please note that your pet must be under your constant supervision.

Hi there, yes you are allowed a campfire. We have some fire pits available for rent (first in best dressed.) Or you’re more than welcome to bring your own.

We’re a family-friendly park. Please keep noise to reasonable levels, particularly after 10pm.

Day visitors should check with reception. Any overnight guests must be included in your booking.

Check with reception about generator use times and placement requirements.

ACTIVITIES & LOCAL AREA

How far are you from the town center?

We are located in Gellibrand, there is a local store just a short walk away.

We are located in the Otway Ranges, about 20 minutes drive from Colac.

We’re 40 minutes from the Great Ocean Road, 20 minutes from Otway Fly Treetop Walk, and surrounded by beautiful walks and waterfalls.

Stevensons Falls, Triplet Falls, Melba Gully, and the Old Beechy Rail Trail are all within easy driving distance. Ask at reception for recommendations.

Several fishing spots are within driving distance. Remember you need a Victorian fishing licence.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

What should we bring?

For camping, bring all cooking equipment, eating utensils, torch, and camping gear. Weather in the Otways changes quickly so pack for all conditions.

Colac Hospital is approximately 20 minutes away. For emergencies, call 000.

Mobile coverage varies by carrier. WiFi may be available in some areas of the park.

Basic supplies are available at the local Gellibrand store within walking distance. Colac (20 minutes) has supermarkets for major shopping.

Otways weather is changeable. Even in summer bring warm clothes and rain gear. Winter is cold and wet.

The nearest ATMs and banks are in Colac, about 20 minutes away.
